Union Editorial and Graham Turner Celebrate Emmy Win for Uber Eats’ Brian Cox Campaign
Previous winner of the Humor Awards at 2025 AICP and Cannes
Uber One “Brian Cox Goes to College” collected Outstanding Commercial honors at the Creative Arts Emmys. Created by Special US, directed by David Shane of O Positive, and cut at Union Editorial, the spot – dry, sharp, and just absurd enough to be believable – also took home Best Comedy Spot honors at this year’s AICP Awards show in June.
Union Partner Graham Turner served as Lead Editor on “Brian Cox Goes to College,” with 2nd Editors Justin “Q” Quagliata and Joe Hughes on board, plus support from Assistant Editor Julia Armine. Lillian Ghodoushim produced for Union – a tight crew behind the best kind of tight spot, one that lands every punchline.
Uber’s debut campaign for Uber One for Students hands the spotlight to Succession’s resident power broker — but this time, Brian Cox isn’t barking orders in a boardroom. He’s roaming a college campus like he owns the quad, chasing not clout but cravings. No textbooks, no keg parties — just serious savings on tacos, lattes, and late-night pizza.
At 78, Cox is schooling the undergrads in how to do college right: skip the lectures, keep the lattes.
